Home automation using hand gestures

Built to make daily tasks easier for people with disabilities: control appliances with gestures — e.g. point index finger to turn a light on, close fist to turn it off. An IR sensor can also toggle lighting when someone enters or leaves the room.

Technologies: Arduino UNO, relay module, IR sensor, breadboard, pyFirmata, Python, MediaPipe.
